I am Sanchari Pal, a recent M.Sc. graduate in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics from Tripura University. I have a strong foundation in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and microbial techniques, which I am eager to apply to research projects. My experience includes working as a Project Technical Support III at ICMR-National Institute for Research in Bacterial Infections (ICMR-NIRBI), where I developed skills in genome assembly, Python, molecular docking, and MD simulation. I also completed a dissertation project at the Bose Institute, focusing on the identification of bacterial strains, where I gained hands-on experience with techniques like 16s PCR, gel electrophoresis, and bacterial DNA isolation. I am actively seeking hands-on training to bridge gaps in my knowledge, particularly in areas like epigenomics and proteomics. I am fascinated by cutting-edge technologies like CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing and its potential to address genetic disorders. I am passionate about integrating wet lab and bioinformatics techniques to solve complex issues at a molecular level. My goal is to gain experience in molecular biology research, cell biology, genomics, and proteomics, which will prepare me for a PhD. I am enthusiastic about contributing to impactful research and am eager to learn.
